Ms. Denise
Studio Operations Manager

Denise Boyd is a dedicated and accomplished music and theatre educator, and a self-proclaimed organizational aficionado, with more than 12 years of experience in arts education. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Music Education from West Chester University and also studied Musical Theatre at Rider University.

During her 12-year career as a music educator, Denise led highly successful vocal programs whose ensembles performed at prestigious venues and events, including the White House, Philadelphia Phillies games, the Pennsylvania State Capitol, and numerous local adjudications, where they consistently earned Superior ratings. Denise's greatest passion lies on stage, where she has directed and music-directed more than 30 musicals throughout Chester and Delaware Counties. In her (much) younger years, Denise worked with J. Mitchell Management in New York City, auditioning and performing for commercial, television, and film projects. She also appeared on stage at the Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia. She is an enthusiastic advocate for arts education in all forms, especially with local youth.

Denise is thrilled to be part of Time To Leap because of the positive impact it has on children and the community. She loves seeing the confidence, camaraderie, and lasting friendships that develop through the program.

While not at Time To Leap, Denise operates a thriving private voice and piano studio, where she is known for creating an uplifting, supportive, and inspiring environment for her students. She loves to craft, sew, embroider, and garden. She resides in West Chester, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Jim, and their two amazing young daughters.
